Catherine Rowe was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 2013 and represents clients in a broad range of civil employment matters including labor relations, public employee retirement benefits, Pennsylvania Civil Service, and professional licensure. She proudly represents school district administrators in local agency hearings and is regularly called upon to conduct workplace investigations for employers, nonprofits, and agencies. She has provided legal counsel and representation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
Rowe proudly serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Widener Commonwealth School of Law teaching Employment Law. She previously served two terms as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Section and is presently the Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Administrative Law Section. She is the Treasurer of the James S. Bowman American Inn of Court, and is an appointed member of the Derry Township Downtown Core Development Board. Rowe previously served as a member of the Harrisburg Catholic Elementary School Board and proudly volunteers with Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers and Junior Achievement.
Rowe graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Pennsylvania State University Schreyer Honors College with a Bachelor's Degree in Labor and Employment Relations and a minor in French. She earned her law degree from Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law where she was awarded the Faculty Award for Academic Success as a Law Student and the Faculty Award for Outstanding Leadership in the Law School Community. She served as the Law School student body President her third year of Law School and received a Pro Bono Service Honors Award at graduation.
During Law School and prior to joining the firm, Rowe completed a co-op with Honorable Sue L. Robinson in the United States District Court of Delaware, interned with Labor and Employment Unit of the City Solicitor's Office of the City of Philadelphia, and was a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Trial Advocacy and a Dean's Scholar for Civil Procedure.
Rowe enjoys being outdoors with her family – her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. Nova and Archer, her two dogs, regularly accompany Rowe to the office.
